That’s lovely. What is the white and black on the painting in the flower?

The painting is all acrylics including the dark within the flower; with the exception of the white, and you may be the only person who has every “wondered” about the white. It is a method that I learned several years ago from an artist friend. It may be said that it can be used in watercolor but not acrylics, I proved it wrong. While the paint is still wet you sprinkle “table salt” over the areas you want accented then shake it off, you can actually rub lightly if it is holding too thick. It gives it a wonderful texture and of being different. Thank you so much for asking, have a great day.

I wish I can create a beautiful piece like this on pastel. Still learning though.
